Gărâna Jazz Festival is proud to announce its 21st edition, taking place July 6-9 in the Semenic Mountains, Caraș-Severin County, Romania. After celebrating two decades of live music, Gărâna will continue to nurture the passion for jazz and nature along with the freedom of bringing these two elements together in a unique festival experience.

The festival looks to the future, while remaining faithfull to its initial mission of revealing a distinctive universe where inspiring artistic encounters are made possible.

To mark two decades of existence along with the developement of Romanian jazz scene and a great community of music lovers, the festival team announces the launch of Gărâna Jazz Festival book, an extensive photo-journalism project documenting the atmosphere of the bohemiam village that gained international recognition over the years. The book will gather works of photographers Horațiu Șovăială and Mihai Șovăială, and will be launched in Bucharest, Timișoara and Cluj in 2017.
