Handelsbeurs Concert Hall organises with De Centrale the annual festival Istanbul Ekspres. This festival focusses on the rich and lively music scene of Istanbul. During 10 days you can discover what is going on in this musical hotbed. From Turkish pop and rock, through oriental jazz or festive Balkan music, right up to the classical grandmasters.
Edition 2016 the focus is the rich Turkish-Greek connection, with a festival creation by the famous lyre player Ross Daly and young musicians from Belgium, Greece and Turkey. More info.
