Jesse Davis was born in New Orleans in 1965 and started to play the saxophone at 11. Jesse has worked with Jack McDuff, Cecil Payne, Illinois Jacquet, Jay McShann, Chico Hamilton, Kenny Barron and many others. He released several CDs, many of them on the Concord label. Jesse plays the alto with an excellent technique and a natural feeling for the blues. This week, Jesse brings along his own quartet for the first time!
