We are really glad to announce that 3 new organisations joined the Europe Jazz Network:

A to JazZ Festival - Bulgaria

A to JazZ Festival is established in 2011 with the support of Municipality of Sofia, "America for Bulgaria" Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria. Over the years, it reached an audience of over 100,000 people and presented nearly 200 artists including established names from the global and Bulgarian jazz scene as well as dozens of emerging young talents and debuts.

Onassis Cultural Centre - Greece

The Onassis Cultural Centre is a major Athens cultural space hosting events and actions across the whole spectrum of the arts from theater, dance, music, cinema and the visual arts to the written word, with an emphasis on contemporary cultural expressions, on supporting Greek artists, on cultivating international collaborations and on educating children and people of all ages through life-long learning. We present a yearly programme running from October to July, with over 150 productions both within our space and in other spaces in Athens.

Ankara International Jazz Festival / Jazz Society of Turkey - Turkey

Jazz Society of Turkey is an non-profit organisation. ıt was established in Ankara in 1996 and celebrates 20th anniversary. Every year International Ankara Jazz Festival held in May in Ankara, Turkey since 1996. Venues, jazz clubs, university campuses, parks and openair concert halls mostly preferred. On the other hand society do organisations around the Turkey such as workshops, exhibitions, jazz concerts, seminars, etc.

The EJN membership includes now 114 organisations in 33 countries, including two countries where we previously didn’t have any member, Bulgaria and Greece. We really look forward to engaging the new members in our activities and introducing them to the rest of the membership!
